Cannot see anything on c drive

I have installed windows xp on c: drive. I cannot see any folder on
this drive because all of them are hidden. I have checked tools>view
>folder options, everything is normal there. I can access all these

files by typing their address in address bar( e.g c:/program files) .
Whenever I create a new folder in c: drive, it hides automatically as
well. All other drives are working fine.

Just a note. When you post, post to both groups at the same time. Not
separate postings. That way everyone sees the same thing. One repsonse
in group x will show in group y.
