Cannot save to the network

I am using Windows 98SE and Front Page 2000. I had a virus attact some time
ago and had to reinstall Windows 98SE. Now when I start Front Page, it
connects to my web, but will not let me save a page to the server. I do not
use publish, but save changes directly to the server.

The error I get is Document in this folder are not available. The Folder
may have been moved or Deleted or network problems may be preventing a
connection to the server.

I have another copy of Front Page on my office computer and it works just
fine, so I don't think there is a problem with the folder or the server.
Help Please!

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download a copy of
FP Cleaner.
Run the function that clears the Cache(.web) files.

See if it helps.

Do you have a firewall installed on the machine??
And if so, have you granted internet access to FrontPage??

There is no Firwall, and I have been using this version of FP with no
problems for a long time. This problem is new and the only thing that I can
think of that has changed is the virus crash that forced me to reinstall
Windows 98SE. I suspect that something is scred up in the registry.

It probvably came about by means of the FrontPage server extensions not
being properly set up when you replaced the web in its original location.
When you restore the files in the web, it does not restore the server
extensions to their correct state. This is done when a new FrontPage web is
created on the server. The correct way to restore the web would have been to
create a new FrontPage web using the Import Web Wizard to import the old
copy of the web to the new web on the newly-installed web server.
