I read over the information and tired to process as much as I could. What an
informative site. I have gotton messages on my computer saying my virtual
memory is low and windows is trying to add to my virtual memory. Could this
be why my movie won't save? You mentioned memory and virtual memory in the
test you performed to try and resolve this error message in WMM. I followed
your steps to Change the Virtual Memory. But when I clicked change I didn't
know how to proceed. Mine reads:
Drive C Space Available 62211 MB
Custom size:
Intial Size MB 384
Maximum Size MB 768
Total paging size for all drives
minimum allowed 2mb
Reccommended 379MB
Currently allocated 379MB
I also was trying to compare my task manager to yours
Committ Charge K
Total 358392
Limit 639896
Peak 1027984
But honestly, none of this and these numbers mean anything to me, and I
don't have a good understanding of this. I just know my virtual memory is
low and I don't know how to change it and I am wondering if that would be why
my movie won't save. It is not a complicated movie as your site also
mentions. It is about 17 minutes long with about 100 digital pictures, 6
titles and probably about 100 fades used as transisitons. Thanks PapaJohn.
