Customer cannot save Excel 2010 files to network drive. I set the
network drive as a trusted location and it still does not work.

What is the specific error message your customer is seeing?

Can the customer save Notepad files to that network drive? (IOW, does
the customer have network permissions to create files on that network
share?)

... and then check if they can save the XL file elsewhere. I've seen some
very odd error messages (and a lack of them too ) if the disk is full.
Perhaps they have no disk allowance on the network ?
