You can use FrontPage for the 20 years if you wish - FrontPage is
directly supported by Microsoft until 2011.
FrontPage extensions (except on Windows 2003 servers) are no longer
supported by Microsoft, but may be supported by your host - your host
will decide when to remove them.
The same error message is used for both Sharepoint and FP extensions.
You do not require SharePoint or FrontPage extensions installed on your
system.
Ask your host to run a Server Health Check. Also download FP Cleaner
from
http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and run the routines
that clear the hidden temporary files and the hidden web cache files.
This may help.
