After years of using "Incredimail" as my default email pgm, as of several
weeks ago, I can no longer open or reinstall the program. I always get the
same error message when the pgm is trying to write dll's to the registry when
reinstalling. The Message Is: IncMail.exe-Application Error...... The
instruction at "0x7e41af34" referenced memory at "0x7e41af34". The memory
could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate te program....Click on
CANCEL to debug the program... Cancel does not try to debug anything. OK
does nothing also. Does anyone out there have a clue for me... The
Incredimail Tech support team is stumped. Thanks, Jim

first, uninstall this software, confirm there is no process in task list,
then find key word 'incmail' in register table to delete. reboot, reinstall
it.

Better yet, don't reinstall it. ;-)

Thanks Daave.....I've never had a problem using Incredimail in the last 6
years. They have improved there anti-everything properties in the last 6
months. re: don't reinstall it, do you know some problems I am not aware of
with this Pgm. I would appreciate any comment. I certainly don't want any
pgm on my system that has hidden probs. Thank You very much. Jim

Thanks Jansen,

As I answered to Daave, I have been using "Incredimail" for years and never
had a problem with any security issues at all including spyware and all the
rest. I still have the pgm intstalled on 2 other systems in my home and they
work just fine. Daave advised me to "not reinstall it". If there is a
hidden issue that anyone is aware of, Please Alert Me. I don't want any pgm
on my systems that can cause problems. Thanks Again. Jim R

Thanks Jansen, your tip fixed the problem. I thought I had deleted about a
million of those out of the registry before, but I guess I missed the 3 more
that I found and deleted. Thx Again. Jim R

Yes, it is the Windows Registry...You can run "regedit" then use the find
function to locate each instance of "incmail" then delete them. Reboot when
finished and re-install the pgm. This worked for me for around a week, then
started having the same problems again. I am still trying to figure it out.
This only happens on one of my systems, all running Win XP of some sort???
