I cannot retrieve my new and old email from my exchange server using
web outlook. Only email that I haven't open using office outlook. Once
I open the mail using office outlook, web outlook does not show the
email anymore.

Is this a problem with the settings of the office outlook or I need to
make changes in the server?

Thank you

Sounds like you have Outlook configured to deliver your mail to a PST
instead of the mailbox. If you have Outlook 2002/2003 (you should always
state your Outlook version), click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and examine
the "Delivery new e-mail to the following location" drop-down at the bottom.
If it shows "Personal Folders", change it so it says "Mailbox". Then stop
and restart Outlook. From then on, your mail will stay on the server. You
can move the old stuff back to the server if you want by opening each
default folder in your PST and copying its contents to the corresponding
folder in the mailbox.
