I somehow lost a folder from Outlook Express. I had an older copy backed up
and tried to copy it from my CD to C:\Windows\Application Data\Identities
(where all my other folders are stored) using Windows Explorer. It appears
in Windows Explorer, but does not appear in Outlook Express. Can anyone help
me?

Try posting this in an Outlook Express news group - this is not one of them.
Outlook is a part of Microsoft Office and is what this group supports.
Outlook Express is a part of Internet Explorer and has its own news groups.
