Every time I hit the' Reply to post' button I am taken back to the thread and
unable to answer questions. I read another users thread with the same
problem and he was told to use the 'Reply to Group' button. I cannot see this
button. Where is it please ?

Reply to a post
1. In the thread pane, select the post you want to reply to. Click Reply
..
2. In the Reply form, type your reply in the Body box.
3. If you do not want your message to include the text of the message
you are replying to, you can delete this text from the Body box.
4. Review the text you typed in the Body box to make sure it says what
you want; you cannot revise your message after you click Post.
5. To receive e-mail notification when a Community member adds a reply
to this thread, select the Notify me of replies check box.
6. Click Send.

The 'Reply to Group' message you read refers to a different newsreader
to the type you are using.
