Cannot Reopen Attachments

When an Outlook message has email attachments, I can only open the
attachments once. If I open the attachment, close it and then try to reopen
it, I get a dialogue box saying "The Operation Failed." The only way to
reopen that attachment is to close Outlook.

The help desk at my office tells me that this is a known bug and that there
is no solution. But I'm having a hard time believing that. Thanks for any
help.

Unfortunately, this did not work. My problem is not that attachments won't
open at all (that is the problem this particular fix remedies). My problem
is that attachments of email messages (not all attachments -- only
attachments that are email messages) will only open once. To open them a
second time, I must close Outlook entirely. I hope this helps to zero in on
what's happening.

Do you have Adobe Professional 8 installed. If so this is a known bug in adobe.
