A few months ago, the ability to rename a new folder or change the the name
of an existing one stoped working.

Anytime I create a new folder, and attempt to assign it a name, the "New
Folder" name remains.
I don't get an error of any kind. It just won't change the name.

I have tried installing all sorts of registry fixes from forums but none
worked. I have even tried "taking ownership" of the folder, but no luck thier
either.

Please help!!!

Rightclick the drive icon in Explorer, then Properties, and the Tools tab,
to do "Error Checking" on the drive
