Using Windows XP and NAV 2003. Norton detected two viruses with .dll
extensions in c:\windows\system32 folder. Cannot quarantine or delete
because they are being used by windows (or some other program). How can I
delete these? Please Help.

Louie

Try running the scan, or manually deleting the files in safe mode.

See http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT..._nam#_Section4
for instructions on how to get into safe mode.

Download this utility, place path to the file to delete in the killing

If that doesn't work, here's a nifty context menu addition called
"Remove on Reboot"
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/removereboot.html
