Dear Frank,
Sounds partly like the problem I'm hoping for an answer
for. I do have a suggestion.
When I installed a new mainboard XP wouldn't boot at all,
(see my post),. I set the bios to boot from cd rom and
installed the XP disk. It took two reboots?. It then
walked me through the process of either reinstalling,(new
OS), or repairing. It took some time. The "r" option
scared me at first as it appeared to be reinstalling the
os all over but when I was finally able to reboot up came
the original desktop. I still can't get the second drive
to show however,(my problem),.
Good luck,
Jim Perkins
