I have a program that has a price list on a disc. On one machine it sees the
price list which i copy and paste into the relevant folder and the program
installs it. On another machine the computer see's the same disc as a zip
file and not unzipped thus it will not load when installed as above. When i
try to drag the original across the network it sees it as zipped yet on the
original it is unzipped.
Is there a `box' somewhere on the other machines that needs `ticking' to
recognize it as unzipped which it is on the disc ??

On the machine that sees the zip, go to start/run, and type: regsvr32
zipfldr.dll

Mark, thanks for the response but i have recently had a new network installed
due to a break in which i lost my complete network. My new network is XP pro
and it will not recognize it on any machine, but the proiblem was as i wrote
earlier. Any other ideas ?
