It looks like you have mixed up the IMAP and POP3 methods of
connecting. Choose one of them, then remove your email account
under Windows Mail, then restart Windows Mail and use only the
parts of the following instructions meant for that connection method
to add the account again:

Note that gmail.com and googlemail.com are two names for the same
email provider. The only reason two such names are needed is a
trademark dispute over which company has the right to use the name
Gmail.
