Account: 'Amy - pop.domainnamesanity.com', Server:
'pop.domainnamesanity.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC17 From Windows Live Mail I added my personalized email address and also my msn one. My msn one transferred everything over, but the domainnamesanity one didn't. Antivirus is Windows Live One Care. My subscription expired & I didn't renew it so no antivirus. Be sure to uninstall OneCare if you don't intend to renew your subscription.
If not uninstalled it may interfere with your email. After you get the current trouble squared away, I recommend you download and install one of the free antivirus programs: AVG free edition: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/5390/us/frt/0?prd=aff or Avast free edition: http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html With either of those, during the install phase you must select 'custom' install, and then deselect the email scanning module so it won't install. As to why your domainnamesanity email is not working, I don't see a good reason why that is. Your settings look good. Are you able to login and see that email via the web, by going to http://mail.domainnamesanity.com ? -- Gary VanderMolen, MS-MVP (Mail) "Amy" <(E-Mail Removed)> wrote in message news:3BE676F0-CB62-426E-B378-(E-Mail Removed)... > Account: 'Amy - pop.domainnamesanity.com', Server: > 'pop.domainnamesanity.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Error > Number: 0x800CCC17 > > From Windows Live Mail I added my personalized email address and also my msn > one.
