Cannot receive mail but can send it out??

I am unable to open mail. I get a message about the POP3 wrong user name or
password. I checked them and they are fine. I can send mail out. HELP!!!

Right-click on your error message, copy, then paste it into a reply here.
We can't do much troubleshooting without the complete error message.

I am having a similar poroblem where I was able to send emails last night but
not now. I can recieve them though. I haven't changed any of the settings and
checked to see if the server was down. All is ok. Please help.

You're a bit behind the times. :-)
AT&T hasn't wanted you to use port 25 for about two years already.
Go to Tools, Accounts, select that account, Properties, Advanced.
Change port 25 to port 465, then enable the SSL option.

GAry, I think a bit behind is an understatement I've used this port the
last 3 years. Thanks for the time to help out, I really appreciate it. I will
update it and report back here in a couple of minutes. I work a little from
home on the weekends and I've been stuck in mud the last 12 hours...
