I dont't have McAffee and neither Norton. I have and use Webrook spsysweeper
with antivirus.
Please advise if the KB941090 Microsoft Update that you refer to also
applies to Webrook Spysweeper.
(By the way, one additional question: Is the KB941090 not an "automatic
update"? I looked at the list and did not see it, but I wojnder if it might
be hidden somehwere)
Thanks

KB941090 is not an automatic update because it is just a temporary
tool used to remove stuck messages. So, it is not a permanent patch.
If you have a recurrence of the stuck message problem, you can
blame Spysweeper.

The update for windows Vista KB941090 (32 bit) recommended by Brinks above.
I still get the message

"Folder Could not be displayed
Windows Mail could not open this folder
Possible causes are:
Low disk space
Low memory "

When I try to open any of the Newsgroups.

My version is 32 bit. I installed th4 Windows 6.0-KB941090-V2_x86.msu. I
could not find information if this is the 32 or 64 bit installation. I think
that I selected the 32 from the two when I started loading, but just in case,
can any one tell me if the one that I installed is the 32?
Also: I stopped some of the Intenet things from my Webrook, but still
thingns did nto word. Seems to be soemthing else.
Can any one send to me a link on how to set Windows Mail again (from
scratch) to work with MSN dialup, just in case that I decide to to it (i.e.,
to reset the Windows Mail from sctratch again).
Thanks.

I just reset Windows Mail and still have the problem. So my next step will
probably be to install Windows Mail Beta 2.
Brinks, do I need to uninstall my current Windows Mail bofore I download and
install the Beta 2, or will the replacement be automatically without me
having to uninstall my current program?
Also: Do the Beta 2 has any issues working with MSN dialup? (I use MSN
Dialup as my primary e-mail program).
Thanks in advance.

Do not attempt to uninstall Windows Mail. It's part of Vista.
Windows Live Mail will import accounts, settings, folders and emails
from Windows Mail.

Windows Live Mail does not care what your connection source is.
Dial-up should work fine.

Is the Windows Mail that I have now (before installing the Beta 2) a Beta 1?
The Beta 2 is a new experiment, or has it been around for a while? How is
the Beta 2 working? Any major issues with the other programs that will cause
annoyances, etc? Does it works better that the current one?
