Cannot read files on CD

I had installed Vista RC1 Build 5600; Had recently Reinstalled XP Home;
Backed up Files(Music Videos on CD);When I tried to reinstall explorer window
comes up blank; Under Properties it shows as UDF File; Any way to recover
these files? Thanks
