Have office xp professional 2003 and also frontpage 2003. There was a
problem with frontpage to the extent that I purchased a new frontpage 2003
to re-install it, as I no longer have the original source disk.
The problem I have now is that when I run the installation, it is still
looking for the original source disk. Getting desperate have tried to
manually delete all frontpage files including in the registry. Does anyone
know of a work around. Can't find anything from microsoft to help.

Was Office 2003 an upgrade? You may get some odd behavior like this
sometimes because the two product suites share some of the same common
Office files and functionality.

Hope this helps,

The you need to un-install all office apps, then install Office XP and then any updates, then
FP2003, then Office 2003 then updates, however MS doesn't recommend install different versions of
office on the same machine as new versions will overwrite certain Office files.

No that doesn't work either. When installing FrontPage the error message is
' The installation source for this product is not available verify that the
source exists and you can access it '. Can't believe I've spent nearly £180
on a piece of software that's absolutely useless
The good news is I have re-installed office and now have all the updates.

Regards Terry

Did you purchase the full version of FP from a normal software retailer?
