Cannot re-install accessories

Hi all. I'm trying to re-install my accessories. I go into add/remove
programs, and I click on ADD/REMOVE Windows Components.

I get a dialog box that says COPY ERROR, and in the 'Copy files from" box, a
reference to the following path

c:\windows\ServicePackFiles\i386

is specified.

It seems as though the installation program cannot read these files, but I
can open Windows Explorer, and I find the files that the installation
program cannot detect.

I'm running XP Home Edition (SP3), and IE 8.0 (latest service is on).

Any ideas?

Thanx in advance.
