I cannot publish to our WebServer running IIS 5 from FrontPage 2003.

I get error:
Unable to open 'http://... Server error: An error occurred accessing your
Windows SharePoint Services site files. Authors.... WebMasters... Possible
Causes 1-4....

Details:
I published trying http//www...<webname> or http//192... I tried both ways
(Since TCP takes the shortest path I wasn't sure if it mattered)

IIS is extended with FP 2002 SE. I am publishing to a subweb that is
created and has same permissions as parent using the SharePoint
administrator.

In SharePoint Administration:

A Link: Go to Site administration for http://192.168.0.252 (that is why I
tried both ways)

I Locked it down with iislockd.exe previously.

Running Virtual Server version 5.0.2.4330 as seen in SharePoint
admininistration

The website properties in IIS:

Home Directory tab:

Read is enabled.

Our Web Server has 4 virtual websites, using 4 static IP's

I logon as the Webserver Administrator when setting up site and subsite in
SharePoint Admin.

Integrated Windows authentication is selected.

I can view the main site and subwebsite fine using the www. prefix or the IP
address but can't publish either way to the main or subsite.

I try to publish from a computer on our company domain, but the web server
is not on our domain, but isolated. I do not get a logon prompt.

The main website was not setup with FP SE originally, so I downloaded the SE
2002 and extended the web.
Any ideas?

You need to configure the IIS Lockdown to allow FP access.

Would I enable FTP or not? I am publishing via HTTP.
What do I need enabled specifically?
