Hi

I cannot print direct from IE6 without losing the right hand side of the page.

Have tried changing the page setup on the web page, print preview and even
the registry but with no luck.

I am using HP1220C, Laserjet 2100 and HP990C and all ahev the same problems.

Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Hi,
Changing to a smaller text size (IE> View> TextSize) may help. If not, try
this freeware program from
http://www.visiontech.ltd.uk/software/

Internet Explorer Fitted-Width Printing

Have you ever printed a web page only to find that the right-hand edge is
missing? This is for you. First, this download page will install the
control. After installation, close the browser window and reopen a new one.
You should have a new printer icon with a small 'W' next to it on the
toolbar. Press this to bring up a print dialog which will then print the
page fitted to the width of your paper. Alternatively, hold down the Control
key while pressing the button and you will get a print preview instead.

It appears that the program is no longer available.

Hi Don

Downloaded the program and seems to work okay. Still doesn't explain why
this happens. Is there any description of the fault on the Microsoft website?

Regards
Neil

Hi,
The download page installs an ActiveX control to the Downloaded Progam Files
folder- as long as you don't block the ActiveX install.

Close all IE windows, then reopen one and right-click the toolbar. Choose
Customize and under Available buttons, choose Fixed-width Print and put that
button on the toolbar.
