cannot print locally from client with remote desktop

Hello Everyone,
I have a windows Me client and am able to securely log
onto via Remote Desktop Protocol connection, with my
remote XP pro workstation without any problems. I have
enabled the check box to connect to my local printer
within the Local Resources tab located in the RDP dialog
box. I have a HP 5550 attached locally. It prints locally
fine, but not through my RDP connection. I can only print
to the remotely connected printers on the XP
Professionals workstation. Any suggestion please?Many
