Ladies and Gents-
I cannot get OUtlook 2007 Trial with service packs installed to allow
me to preview or oen any messages that have a .msg file attached - i
get the following error:

"This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following
previewer:
Microsoft Office Outlook Message and Item Previewer

To open this file in its own program, double-click on it"

When I do so, nothing happens.

Please help, someone? Thank you!

Sounds like you have Google Desktop Search installed. Uninstall it or try if
their latest version has solved this issue.
