Some of the PC (using WindowsXP and joined to a domain)
in the network cannot be PING. Those PC can access the
network and use all network resources, but just cannot be
ping by other computers.

I try to ping those PC by the computer name or even their
static ip address, it has no response. Those computers
can ping other computers but just cannot be ping.

Any one can help ?

THANKS VERY MUCH !!

One-way pings are almost always caused by a firewall on the unpingable
machine.

Ensure the XP firewall is disabled on the LAN connection.
Disable or un-install 3-rd party firewalls during troubleshooting.

Take check out of enable firewall setting in the advanced
tab of your LAN card properties and that may do it and
there are a couple other checks to take out also. I had
the same problem...
