I have two Dell Dimension E520 computers running XP Pro that need to share
accounting software. Both machines communicate with the rest of the world,
but will not talk to each other. neither can ping its own or teh others IP
address, but will ping other devices. I'm a little confused as to what might
be happening here, any ideas? Thanks.

Yep, that was it. Norton Internet was blocking everything. Got a new
Watchguard Firebox firewall, so I deleted Norton and they communicate well.
Thanks.
