I'm not an Excel expert, but did you paste the data into Excel as a link?
If this is the case, then the logic is circular (which gives silicone based
intelligence a migraine). In other words, it is copying the information
from PowerPoint to Excel and pasting the same information back in a circular
loop.
If this is not the case, please post back with some additional information
What versions of PowerPoint & Excel?
How did you paste the information into Excel?
