Cannot open secure pages any more

Hi all...hope someone can help me. yesterday my computer (xphome,ie6)
stopped displaying secure pages that it was doing fine the day before. i
have tryed alsorts of things to get it working with reference to microsofts
own knoledge base.

any one help?
