Hello all,

Windows 2000 server SP4 and fully patched.

I cannot open the printers windows, neither by a shortcut, control pannel or
the start menu. When the menu item.shortcut is selected nothing happens,
tried rebooting the server but to no avail.

Any help much appreciated (It's a print server :/ )

Anything showing in Event Viewer? Is the print spooler failing to start?

Not a thing in event viewer, and the service has started (reboot didn't cure
it).

Only 'thing' in event viewer is an information alert
Event ID: 1002, Source: Winlogon
The shell stopped unexpectedly and Explorer.exe was restarted.
