Cannot open outlook in the Office 2000 Professional

After I originally installed the program, had no
problem. All of a sudden, I get this msg that I cannot
open outlook because of a missing component (om19.dll).
The msg says to reinstall outlook. I've removed office
2000 and installed from scratch. Still get the same
msg. However, When I do double click on the outlook
icon, the system appears to be trying to reinstall the
office program. When I cancel the operation, I get the
same original message concerning om19.dll. No problem
with word, exel or any other aspects of this program.
Has anyone else experienced this? Paul
