I cannot open a message attached to another message in Outlook 200

's Computer Specifications

I cannot open a message attached to another message in Outlook 2007. I can
open jpg and other files with an extension. I cannot open a folder (message).

Update Google Desktop to the most recent build or uninstall it or tell it
to stop indexing msg files.
