Hi,

I was assigned to change MDB file which had been developed by someone else
before I come. In order to make some changes, I need to gain access to the
structure, forms and reports. The MDB cannot be open even if I log as Admin.
I think that the developer has remove or restricted the right of Admin.

Is there a way to open the database if I donot know the security level of
that database?

that you might find on the internet.
Best option is to ask the previous developer for the username and
password for the owner of all objects. In most jurisdictions a person
can be compelled by a judge to surrender this information, on penalty
of theft.

Please tell me these are not the only solutions. I was trying to learn the
security features and have managed to lock myself out of my own database. I'm
the owner, I created the objects. If I can't get back to the database, I'll
have to recreate it completely.
