I used to be able to click on a link in a webpage in IE6
and the page would open up in a new browser window. This
is not happening anymore. Instead, the windows
automatically gets put in the taskbar. When I go to left
click on it it opens up to a point on the desktop but I
am unable to see it. I now have to right click on the
window in the taskbar ans chose Maximize to view the
page. If I minimize the page I can now max and min at
will as I did before. I ran Adaware and Spybot but
nothing changed. Any ideas?

Ken,
When you right-click the button on the taskbar, there are options for "size"
and "move" right? Experiment with Size first, using the arrow keys on the
keyboard. Then try the Move option with the arrow keys. Your window is
probably very small, maybe just a few pixels, and might even be off the
screen. Once you can see it, drag it out to the desired size and make it the
last IE window you close.

Hope this helps,
Don

Open such a window.
Don't choose Maximize.
Close all other windows.
Right click the entry and choose Restore (if it isn't grayed out).
Right click its entry on the taskbar and choose Size.
Use the arrow keys to make it the size you want (or at least some of it is
on the screen).
You may have to use a right click on the taskbar an choose Move to get the
top onto the screen.
Close it that way, making sure that it is the last IE window closed.
