I'm am using Outlook 2007 on a Windows Vista-Business. All is working fine.
I also have Sharepoint 3.0 on one of our servers. I have some alerts set to
email me when changes are made to some sites. I can receive these emails but
they will not open. When I try to open the emails from Sharepoint 3.0 with
my Outlook 2007 I get the message 'Cannot Open This Item'.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Try clearing the Forms Cache - Tools->Options->Other->Advanced->Custom Forms->Manage Forms.

unsolicited mail sent to my personal account will be deleted without

Good morning,

I tried your suggestion. I hit the Clear Cache button and then sent myself
an email from Sharepoint and had the same problem. But I did find that when
I turn off the 'Used Cached Exchange Mode' in Outlook I am able to read those
emails. It's kind of inconvenient but I can live with it unless you have any
other suggestions.

I appreciate you help. Thank you and have a good day.
