Cannot open IE6 from start > run

I was able to open ie6 by typing a URL into the run box, however since I
uninstalled an IE addon this feature no longer works, I get an error
message:

Windows cannot find 'website'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and
then try again. To search for a file, click the start button, and then
click search.

I have tried reinstalling IE6 but the problem is still there. any ideas?
