Cannot open forwarded emails that are received as attachments

Suddenly, when I receive a forwarded email, I cannot open the attached email.
Up until last week it was no problem. I have gone to my ISPs mail site and
the attachments are there, and I can open them. I also can open files that
are not forwarded. The attachments are not the file extensions that Outlook
2003 blocks by default.

Any ideas?

Do you have sp3 installed? See help, about.
Did you reboot since it started?

I have had the same problem the past few days. Couldn't even open them if I
saved them to the hard drive. Finally uninstalled the Google Desktop and
everything is back to normal.

Uninstallin Google Desktop worked for me too. I also can now open message
templates that were saved to my desktop.

Thanks VPless for the solution.
