I'm trying to save a newly created page, when I hit save it asks if I want to
save embedded files (logos), which I do, and then when I hit Okay I get a
"cannot open file ... for writing. I thought it may have something to do
with the logos, but removed them and still get the same error message. Any
ideas?

Import your logo files to a location inside your web, and then place them on your pages.

I tried that too. Was able to log on the same computer as administrator and
don't have the problem. Did I somehow lose priveleges under my log in?

Go here: http://www.95isalive.com/fixes/fpclean.htm and download and run the FP Cleaner functions:
"Clear Temporary Files"
and
"Clear FrontPage Web Cache Files."

You will have to run it under each user name, as it will only delete files for the logged on user.

You do **not** need to run the "Restore Default Toolbars and Menus" or
"Change the Open Last Web Setting" feature
