Please could someone help me?
When I try and open Excel my computer tries to load Microsoft Front page
which I don't have installed, and tells me to load disc. All data I have in
my excel files are not obtainable.
Any help will be much appreciated

Many thanks

Tina

Try this,

Go to an Excel workbook NOT the Excel application and right click it.
Click "Open with" and navigate to Excel
Check always use the selected program for this file.

It sounds like the Windows setting for the application to run .xls files has
been changed to Frontpage. To fix this, open MyComputer. Click on Tools on
the menubar, then Folder Options. On the File Types tab, scroll down to XLS
and select it. Look in the Details for 'XLS' extension box. It should say
Microsoft Office Excel. If not, click Change and set it to Excel. If this
doesn't work, the Excel executable file is missing or has been corrupted.
Hope this helps, James
