Using Excel 2007 (but with xls format) with Vista Professional. When I double
click (or right click on open) on Excel documents in Explorer, I get a
message that the document cannot be found. Appreciate help to solve this
problem.

Thanks for response. Having tried to use the methods you described, I must
admit that I gave up. To me the descriptions seem to be for XP version (or
older), but not for Vista. Appreciate if you could provide one that works
with Vista.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for reply. There is no "run" in Vista as I can recall from XP and
previous platforms, so I stumble right in the start. Any other ways to start?
