Have a curious situation. A user is complaining of cannot open attachments
via OWA. That's through our company Exchange server (Exchange 2003). Now,
on the very *same* laptop she is using, she can get attachments from another
company's OWA. Very strange. What is the normal cause of this issue?

It's not her computer that determines any of the behavior when using
OWA, but rather your company's server. With OWA, the only thing that
her computer does is act as a browswer. OWA's configuration on your
company's server displays everything that she sees and determines the
behavior.

Thanks. Where on the server do I tell it to let the browser download
attachments. Because no other users experience this problem on their
company-issued laptops. The user in question is using a non-company issued
laptop. Let me re-state the problem again.

You should probably ask this in an Exchange forum as OWA is a function of
Exchange and has nothing to do with Outlook. You will get advice from the
Exchange experts there, very few of whom hang out here.
