This is strange.
Been using FP 2002 under XP for years.

When I start FP, go to File, Recent Webs and select any of the three that
have been used before - nothing happens, the web does not load into FP.
One web is local on my hard drive and the other two are www..... etc.
No error msgs, just nothing happens.

Any ideas, Regards,
Frank

Have you tried the usual repairs
1) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all FP Temp

Files
2) In Windows Explorer Find and delete all hidden *.web

files
3) In Windows Explorer Find and delete the file

CMDUI.PRF
4) Disable or Uninstall any FP Addins
5) Run a Repair / Reinstall on FP & IE
6) Install all Service Packs for your OS, IE, and MS

Office

Also See

http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us

;324843

You also may wish to download and install the free FP

addin Jimco Open Webs, which will bypass the web

folders, which may be corrupted.

Thanks for the help.
Repair/Reinstall after trying all the others did the trick.

Stupid Question time:
Before this, when I started FP my Folder List was in the left panel and
nothing in the right until I selected a file to view/work on.
The list in the left panel included all the files in the root.
Now all the files in the root show up in the right pane - along with all the
file details.

Cannot seem to find a way to change the layout, could not find anything in
Help or the MS KB.
How do I get back to what I had and liked?
