I cannot open any attachments. My wife can on same computer Help

I cannot open any attachments for about a week now. Before this everything
was fine, computer working well and fast. I am using Vista and Outlook 2007.
On the same comouter, when my wife signs in - no problem - she can open
eveything as I did a week ago. Does anyone have a solution? Thanks.

HI Diane - .doc;.jpg;gif;wmv and others cannot be opened. I get a message:
"This file cannot be previewed. Whrn I try to open I get message: "Cannot
create file"

Try deleting the contents of the securetemp folder.

I am not sure if this went through before so I am sending it again. Files
like .doc;.jpg;gif;wmv and others. WHen I try to preview the message is :This
file cannot be previewed. When trying to open I receive the meassage "Cannot
create file"

I WENT TO THE LINK YOU GAVE AND FOLLOWED THE PATH ALL THE WAY UP TO:
C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows> BUT THERE IS NO TEMPORARY
INTERNET FILES FOLDER???

it's a hidden folder - its easier if you get the path from the registry.

It's at
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\xx.0\Outlook\Security\OutlookSecureTempFolder

Just install the free tool mentioned on
http://www.howto-outlook.com/faq/securetemp.htm and you won't have to worry
about hidden folders.

I did this and tried to clear folder and got message could not delete all
files. Male sure you don't have any files open. When I tried to open file -
message "file is not accesible. The file is corrupted or unreadable.??? Next

Apparently you have one or more of those temporary files open in some
application. Close all your applications before running the OutlookTool
program.
