We are having a problem permanently deleting our 'deleted messages' from the
'Deleted Items' folder. When trying to delete messages from the 'Deleted
Items' folder, we receive the error message "The server does not support
manual deletion of messages. Your 'Deleted Items' folder might be emptied
periodically".

The problem accounts (5) are HTTP accounts associated with Hotmail and MSN
services. The problem accounts are all setup in the very same fashion in
two locations, at home and at the office. At home, we have no problem
manually selecting and deleting the messages from the 'Deleted Items'
folder, but at the office, we get the error message. Any suggestion why we
can delete them on one computer, but not the other? Is this a configuration
issue?

Hard to say with this level of information. Do you have the Outlook
Connector installed? If not, do that and try again.
