cannot make changes to appointments

      1st Sep 2009
All of a sudden I cannot make any changes to appointments that are in my
calendar. They all come up as ready only!

What version of Outlook are you using? Is it activated? Do you have an
Exchange server?

It is 2003, yes it is activated; I do not have an exchange server.

Does that also happen if you create a new appointment, save and close it,
then immediately try to reopen it and make changes?
