Hi,

I've upgraded my hotmail box to the new windows livemail beta version
yesterday and ever since I can not log in to my mail. I can login using
Firefox, but not IE.

I go to hotmail.com and try to login from there, but IE keeps looping
different URLs. I don't get to see my inbox. It does not even login. At the
end, I get an error message that says:

-The Microsoft Passport Network is unavailable from this site for one of the
following reasons:

-This site may be experiencing a problem.
-The site may not be a member of the Passport Network.

Please help. I don't like to use Firefox to check my windows livemail.

Thanks,

B.D.

Hi,

Does it help to delete bthe cookies from IE, Tools, Internet Options?

You could also try deleting the temporary files from there.

Kind regards

Hans

Do you logout afterwards?

Details? Hint: if you are seeing this in the Status bar maximize your
window (Alt-Space,x). Provided the session isn't already using
https: protocol you could get even more detailed clues by tracing
the http packets (e.g. with netcap or Ethereal) or by inserting
the FiddlerTool proxy tracer into the connection. The latter could
also give you some clues even if the session was already secure.

If you aren't logging out after logging in with Firefox
that might explain that observation.

You could also try the resolutions suggested in this KB article:

<title>KB813444 - How to troubleshoot situations where you cannot
complete MSN sign-up or connect to SSL secured (128-Bit) Web sites
by using Internet Explorer in Windows XP</title>
