Hello
I friend of mine is having trouble logging onto a website (match.com) with he
user name and password. She is running Windows XP Home with IE6, an
all critical updates have been applied. When I attempt this from my compute
(which is Win2K with all updates applied and IE6), I can log in with her user
name and password just fine

AND, when I start up her computer in safe mode with networking, she can lo
in fine. I've tried removing all spyware, checking for viruses, etc, and jus
sweeping through and removing any extra startup programs, but I'm still stumped

Anyone have any ideas

Chris

I ended up solving my own problem. She had Norton Internet Security installed,
but she was only using the Antivirus portion of it. So, even though the firewall
and other portions weren't running on startup, they were causing some kind
of conflict. I uninstalled Norton Internet Security, then installed just NAV,
and everything seems ok for now.

If anyone knows why NIS would have affected this website login, I would
appreciate some insites.

Thanks,
Chris
