just installed IE 6 serv pack 1
running 98se cannot log onto any sites that require a password including
Microsofts hotmail.
If I remove this serv pack I can log onto sites .. have tried the fix for
the cumulative patch .. no good

Return to Windows Update and install the *rest* of the patches.

all patches have been installed there are no more criticals to install
only patches available are language support for 98se
