Hello,
I can log into the xp pro machine's remote desktop without any problems,
however when I attempt to click the "Log Off" button in the start menu I do
not get any response from the machine. I have to click the disconnect
connect button to disconnect the session, but this still does not allow the
machine to exit the user profile gracefully.I have to log into the same user
profile locally to access the profile and I can logg off locally without any
problems. This RDP connection is through a regular Dial Up Networking
Account. I have used this DUN connection with other RDP's and had no
negative impact like this. I ran system file check, has uptodate antivirus
with no problems. I looked in the task manager to see if anything was
hanging and it shows nothing unusual.I appreciate any suggestions. Thank
you.
Joe

Sorry but nothing to report in the event log. Funny thing is I just
replicated the RDP through a broadband connection instead of Dial up and I
am able to log off without any problems. Thank you anyway I appreciate it.
