Hi,

A user of ours cannot log back into his PC after he locks it (either manual
locking or time out), when he pushed CTRL+ALT+DEL the password box does not
appear.

Does anyone know which part of the registry controls that pop up box?

Question: Is the keyboard, a wired keyboard or a wireless?

It is a wired keyboard, it's a software issue as the "CTRL+ALT+DEL" popup
disappears when he tries to log in, but the username/password box does not
appear and all you see is the Background image of the PC.

Have you tried using ALT+TAB after the CTRL+ALT+DEL? Could be that the
username box is going into the background for some reason and you just have
to bring it back to the front by ALT+TAB. Best of luck
